Welcome!

The Tempe Union High Schools Education Foundation is a broadly based 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization whose purpose is to solicit and receive gifts and donations and to provide enhanced educational opportunities to the students and citizens who reside in the Tempe Union High School District and to build positive school-community cooperation and inter- relationships.

Our Mission is to enhance educational experiences for all district students through supplemental resources that broaden personal achievement, promote future workplace success, establish positive links to the greater community and reflect the district’s diversity and unity of spirit.

Our Goals are to support programs which encourage individual student and staff excellence, encourage and support the diversity of its students, staff and community and secure resources (both people and funds) to fulfill the Foundation’s mission by forming partnerships and alliances with the community.

Programs are designed to enhance student achievement for the basics and beyond. It takes extra effort to provide what some kids need to succeed, from a tutor or a mentor to a mini-grant. But District, Foundation and family resources are limited, so individual and business partners who care about kids are a must.

There are lots of ways you can make a difference. Please check out the rest of our site to see how you can help a great school District and a great bunch of kids.

Message from Foundation Board President – Eric Emmert

A quality education system is the foundation for success in any community. For years the Tempe Union High School District Education Foundation Board of Directors has supported the students and staff of the Tempe Union High School District through fundraising, grants and program support. The high quality of our schools is reflective of the outstanding teachers, administrators, governing board members and residents that work and reside within the district. However, with increasing educational demands chasing limited resources, the volunteers of the Tempe Union High School District Education Foundation work tirelessly to supplement quality programs for students and faculty alike. The Tempe Union High Schools Education Foundation, serving the District since 1993, is a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization. We welcome you to become involved, by either providing your time, talents, contributions or in-kind resources.

Please take a moment to learn more about our Foundation, and become engaged in the wonderful work of supporting quality education in our area.

Thank you,

Eric Emmert
